Consultations & Costs
The first consultation is a very important one as a large amount of information is gathered about your general health and wellbeing, the nature of your complaint as well as your past medical history and that of your family. This takes 1 ½ hrs and is quite different from a consult with your GP. I also take into account any funny quirks or habits you have, desires and dislikes, sleep and dreams - basically, anything that helps me understand you as an individual and how you function.
I will also perform a basic clinical exam if required plus hands on 'scan' of what is happening in the body.
It can often be the first time many people have talked so exclusively or uninterrupted about themselves for such a long time and it can be a very thought provoking and enjoyable experience.
Patients are usually hugely satisfied by the time and attention given to this process.
There are several tiers of pricing and it includes the prescribed remedies and postage if not dispensed at time of consult. Prices of special orders or prescriptions will be discussed on an individual basis.
It is worth remembering (and budgeting) that you will need between 1-3 follow ups for adults over a period of months as layers of different health issues and emotions are exposed and removed. If finances are an issue, I advise patients to ask for my gift vouchers as birthday or Christmas presents from their friends and relatives. A gift that keeps on giving!
1st Consult
Adult : $90 (1 ½ hr )
0-16yrs : $70 (1 hr)

0-16 yrs : $50 (¾ - 1 hr)

$20 if under ½ hour - after that is $50.

Arrangements can be made for Skype and telephone consultations and prices are as per the above schedule in NZ dollars. I have several patients both nationally and overseas that I treat very successfully long distance. A short health questionnaire will be emailed in advance of the consultation and I ask that it be returned with a recent photo.
Cash or cheque is the preferred method of payment as the clinic does not have an EFTPOS facility. Electronic bank transfer can also be arranged and is the preferred method with distance patients.
I also offer a one off preparation for birth package using homeopathic remedies. This 2 hour consult will cover the best remedies for labour and discuss any specific issues or concerns you, your partner (or loved ones) may have about the birth or life after and which remedies apply to these situations.
Cost for this consult is $150
Birth and first aid kits also available - price on application.

Discounts are available in the following circumstances...
- A significant discount is available to my hardworking medical colleagues upon proof of an annual practice certificate or similar. This applies to midwives, nurses, doctors, osteopaths and other allied health professionals. please call for further information.
- Pre-school, primary and secondary school teachers - those educating our future leaders - I want you to keep doing a good job.
- Active members of the NZ Police Force - I wouldn't want to do your job so let me help you do yours.
- Family discount if two or more members of the same family are being seen ie: mother and baby, husband and wife etc.
